Hello, World!
Who?
Hi, I’m Noah. I’m currently doing my MSc in Cybersecurity at ETH Zürich, but I fell in love with this field back in my bachelor’s degree. My Information Security course showed me the magic of cryptography, secure protocols and real‑world vulnerabilities. Since then, I’ve been hooked on learning more and more about how to keep systems safe.
Why?
In 2025, I found out about Capture‑The‑Flag (CTF) competitions and joined my university’s CTF team, Flagbot, which is part of the Organizers team. CTFs are like puzzle hunts for hackers: you solve challenges in areas such as web security, reverse engineering, and cryptography to earn “flags.” Each flag is a secret code that proves you cracked the challenge. CTFs teach you hands‑on skills and make learning fun, so I dive into them whenever I can.
What?
On this blog, I’ll write clear, step‑by‑step write-ups of how I solved each CTF challenge, explain the tools and scripts that helped me along the way, and sometimes share posts about my life and career. I hope these write‑ups and tips will help you learn with me.
